You’ve built strong global partnerships with cloud and consulting leaders such as AWS, Microsoft, and Accenture, while working closely with local customers and partners to drive success on the ground. How are you approaching a similar ecosystem-building strategy in Indonesia?

In Indonesia, we’re taking an approach that combines local success with global expertise. For example, our work with DKatalis and Bank Jago shows how MongoDB Atlas powers real-time, high-performance banking platforms while staying fully compliant with local regulations. By working closely with their engineering teams—over 500 engineers—we’ve helped them innovate faster, scale confidently, and even build internal tools on top of MongoDB. Amar Bank is another great example, where we supported a cloud-native migration that delivered flexibility, resilience, and zero downtime, proving that our model works at scale.

We’re also localizing our global partnerships. While we have deep relationships with global solutions providers such as AWS, Microsoft and Google, we pair that with local system integrators, such as Multipolar and Mitra Integrasi Informatika (MII), who understand the local practice and unique market needs. This lets us offer both global best practices and local relevance, helping banks and fintechs pilot and scale modern applications—from real-time payments and fraud detection to AI-driven banking services.

Finally, we’re investing in developer ecosystems and talent growth. Besides growing clients such as Bank Jago’s internal communities and digital academy, MongoDB also has Jakarta MongoDB user groups and training programs to develop the next generation of MongoDB developers. By combining customer success, strategic partnerships, and community-driven talent building, MongoDB is not just a technology vendor, but a long-term partner enabling innovation and growth in Indonesia’s financial services sector.
